What I Tell Buyers About Capstone
Capstone builds a noticeably heavier home than most production builders in Arizona. The wall thickness, the insulation package, the window quality — you can feel the difference when you walk through a model. Their Design Center experience is genuine customization, not just picking between two countertop colors.
The tradeoff is price. Capstone starts at $794,900 in Prescott Valley and $949,900 in Prescott proper. If your budget is below $750K, ECCO Homes is the better fit. But if you are buying in the $800K-$1.3M range and want a home that feels custom without paying custom prices, Capstone is the strongest option in this market.
One thing buyers consistently underestimate: the Design Center appointment. Budget 3-4 hours. The selections you make there — cabinetry, flooring, fixtures, countertops — account for $30K-$80K of your final price depending on the plan.
