What I Tell Buyers About ECCO

ECCO is the entry point into new construction in Prescott Valley, and they do it without the corners-cut feeling you get from budget builders in Phoenix. The floor plans are efficient — not cramped, not wasted space. Their single-story plans in Jasper 7 are some of the best-designed small homes I have seen in this market.

The value sweet spot is Jasper 7 and Skyview for buyers in the $450K-$550K range. You are getting a brand-new, energy-efficient home with a 3-car tandem garage at a price point below the Prescott Valley resale median. That math surprises most out-of-state buyers — they assume new construction has to cost more than resale.

Where ECCO differs from Capstone: less customization at the Design Center level, smaller plans (maxing out around 2,700 SF vs. Capstone's 3,760 SF), and Prescott Valley locations only. If you want Prescott proper or a home over 3,000 SF, Capstone is the path. But for value per dollar in new construction, ECCO is hard to beat right now.
